Legal basis

The legal basis: §§ 42, 43 IfSG

Anyone who handles food commercially in Germany needs an instruction under the Infection Protection Act before starting work for the first time. Two sections govern this:

§ 42 IfSG

Governs the bans on activity and employment: persons with certain infectious diseases may not work with food. It therefore defines who has to be instructed in the first place.

Prescribes the instruction and the certificate. It may be carried out by the public health office (Gesundheitsamt) - or by a physician that office has mandated to do so.

Mandate

A mandate is therefore the official authorisation of a physician by a public health office (Gesundheitsamt) to carry out instruction sessions under § 43 IfSG and to issue the certificate. Without this mandate no physician - not even your family doctor - may issue a health certificate under § 43 IfSG.

Officially mandated since 2014

The City of Munich, Department of Health and Environment, mandated Dr. med. Milena Robinzonov by certificate dated 11.12.2014 under § 43 IfSG to instruct persons who handle food commercially in accordance with § 42 IfSG.

This mandate has therefore been in place for more than a decade - every instruction at ON7 takes place under this medical responsibility.

In addition, Dr. med. Milena Robinzonov is also mandated by the public health office (Gesundheitsamt) Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. The certificate shown here relates solely to the mandate issued by the City of Munich.

How you can check the accreditation yourself

Trust is good, checking is better. Two independent ways to verify the mandate:

  1. Enquiry at the Gesundheitsamt

    You can ask about the mandate at any time directly at the Gesundheitsamt Munich or at the Gesundheitsamt Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen.

    Both authorities provide information on this.

  2. Bayerische Landesärztekammer

    The physician is a member of the Bayerische Landesärztekammer. You will also find the details of the responsible supervisory authority in our legal notice.

Frequently asked questions about accreditation

Is an online health certificate valid?
Yes. The Infection Protection Act requires in § 43 IfSG an instruction by the public health office (Gesundheitsamt) or by a physician mandated by that office. At ON7 the instruction is medically supervised by a mandated physician. The certificate is therefore valid nationwide - no matter which city you work in.
Who is responsible for the instruction at ON7?
Dr. med. Milena Robinzonov, specialist in occupational medicine. She is mandated by the Gesundheitsämter (public health authorities) of Munich and Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen under §§ 42, 43 IfSG to carry out instruction sessions.
Since when has the mandate been in place?
The certificate from the Department of Health and Environment of the City of Munich is dated 11.12.2014. The mandate has therefore been in place for more than a decade.
How can I check the accreditation myself?
You can ask your local public health office (Gesundheitsamt) or contact the Bayerische Landesärztekammer.
